Abilene City is a city in the Dickinson County, Kansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 6543. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 6400, giving it the 48th largest population among Kansas. It is spread over 4.13 sq mi (10.7 square kilometre), making it the 54th largest by size in Kansas.
