Aberdeen City is a one of the Monroe County, Mississippi, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 6415. In July 2008, its estimated population was 6089, making it Mississippi's 57th largest. The city spans an area of 10.96 mi˛ (28.39 square kilometre), of which, 10.71 square miles (27.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 56th largest by total area in Mississippi.
