Abbeville City is a United States city located in the Wilcox County, Georgia, United States. Abbeville City had an official population of 2298 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 2746, It is the 229th most populous in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city has a total area of 3.08 mi˛ (7.98 sq km), of which, 3.06 square miles (7.93 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it the 282nd largest by size in Georgia.
